Established by AuSES in 1998, the REPF is structured to meet Australian Government guidelines for environmental projects.

Australian donors are eligible to claim a tax deduction for their donations.

Project selection process

The REPF fund spending and promotion is guided by a small committee of volunteers appointed every year at the AuSES National Committee meeting held at the Society’s annual conference.  Projects are selected on the basis of their capacity to advance the use of renewable energy as well as promote the work of AuSES.  The selection criteria used to identify projects ensures that the funds are used in accordance with Australian Government guidelines for tax deductable enviornmental projects.
